Advice to beginning dj’s?
I’m a new dj too! First off, if you’re just starting to play out, definitely go early and check everything out and make sure you know where everything is and feel comfortable. Otherwise, I would say don’t try to play what’s trendy or what you think other people will like. Just play what you like even if it’s cheesy or seemingly wack. Trust yourself! And if you fuck up who cares, just keep going. Don’t compare yourself to friends/acquaintances/famous people who have been doing it for 10+ years.

What would you like to see in the future for the dance community?
I would like to see more of the DJs I love in the community making tracks! It’s hard to get into, and expensive, but I would love to see that happen. It would be great to see some sort of platform to educate/learn from one another in this area.
