Why do you think it’s important to DJ?
A way to tell your story, to be part of a cultural archive and a sharing in folklore/ grassroots. Important to look at djng as a way to connect the dots between sounds and people (not capital).
Describe your favorite club in the world?
Almost always parties put on by friends in places off the beaten path. Most memorably, any party that’s happened in the woods of Stanley Park.

Embrace mistakes, fuck a bpm and learn the rules… so you can break them!

Sleepy sunday vibe at a Tiki bar in Vancouver BC with the 30 guitar records I owned at the time.

Getting a Discman in concurrence of the napster advent and burning cds felt special and allowed me to discover so much music!
