I was gonna say some weird bird one, but actually Scarlet and Fung’s thicc boi cat Hugo has the cutest suffocated-sounding MEOW. Love a good meow.

Best trip of your life so far (Psychedelic or Travel)
I’m gonna say the past month touring in Asia. Travelling to new places to perform my music has been a long time dream.
The combination of playing some of the best gigs ever and meeting so many amazing, wholesome people has been overwhelmingly emotional, to say the least. I want to go back ASAP!
What is the last recipe you made?
I think the last thing I cooked was Casoncelli!! It’s a typical kind of ravioli from my hometown, Bergamo. I regularly bring a bag to Berlin when I go back to visit my family, and then carefully select the lucky few friends that get to savour the limited imported goods: you boil them and then whack em in a pan full of melted butter and sage. R u mad?! Drool material

Best DJ experience so far?
Hard to choose, but I played a 4hrs closing set at .TAG for Muffle Truffle 2nd year anniversary last month. That club felt like a special place, on the top (21st) floor of a high rise building. Shouts to Hellen and Heling! The vibes were thicc. Light coming through the windows as the sun rises + a deep last hour of the set and final jungle tearout just hit so right. Love to all the Chengdu friends, I miss it so much already!

Tell me about this mix:
It’s got a feeling between breezy and hazy I reckon. Some daytime listening vibes with deeper parts in the second half. Since it was originally going to be released for the start of 2025, I gave it a kind of “new start” nrg, but it also works very well for this moment of full spring. Some unreleased ones from myself inside too ;))
What would you like to see in the future musically?
I know what I want to see in my own musical future, or at least the direction I am heading towards. I think it’s a slow process where many abstract ideas take form over the years, and I feel like I still have a lot to say.
Something that works with the format of big sound systems, a continuous flow/“trance” (or whatever you want to call it) and abstract soundscapes.
Other than myself though, I guess everybody is free to do their thing. I just wish musicians would focus less on “the classics” or the “gear”, or whatever other thing/person people tend to idolise. Get lost in exploration and come back to us with the juice. You are your own idol and the master of your own path.
